Spring Make-Up 101
Think bright and bold and don’t be afraid to experiment with color and have fun. Think shimmery whites, pastel colors like soft pinks, a bit of bronze added to your moisturizer or foundation and bold colors like emerald green, teal, purple and sea blue. While with the lips, red lipstick is still standing strong as well as gorgeous pink shades to compliment each person’s skin.
Some colors for you: Bright Eyes
Fair Skin: Colors that will work for you are teal and yellow which stand out with the rosy undertones in your skin. Trace along your upper eye lids with a yellow eye liner from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. (try M.A.C pro eye pencil in Beelicious #1) Then apply a teal colored eye shadow from just above the eye liner and finish just above the crease of your eye. (try Maybelline NY Expert Wear Eye shadow in Electric Blue #2).
Beige Skin: Colors that work for you are lime green and sea blue which contrasts with your skins peachy color and helps to make your eyes stand out. First trace along your upper eye lids with a sea blue eye liner (try Prestige Soft Blend Khol eye liner in Lagoon #3) and go just past the corner of the eye lids (but not too much). Then apply a lime green colored eye shadow (try Clinique Color Surge Eye Shadow in Keylime Pie #4) and end it just below the brow line.
Golden Skin: Colors that work for you are emerald green and orange which lights up your face and brings out your olive complexion nicely. First trace along your upper eye lids with a orange eye liner (try M.A.C Pro eye pencil in O.J #5), finishing the line just past the outer corners. Then apply a emerald green eye shadow (try Prestige eye shadow in Igunana #6) from above the eye liner till you reach the crease of your eye.
