Using fake lashes can automatically make your lashes longer and thicker. But sometimes it's difficult to figure out how to put them on. So here are 5 easy steps to applying fake lashes.

1. Wash your face because if you haven't washed your face and hands, the oil might be making it hard for the fake lashes to stick or stay. So make sure you've washed your face (especially your eyelid) thoroughly!

2. Use self-adhesive lash strips. These are the easiest ones for you to put on. They are convenient and quick! Individual lashes are difficult for a person to put on their own and ones that you have to apply glue to can make a big mess.

3. Close your eyes. It might seem straightforward but some people seem to think they can apply the lashes while their eyes are open. You can if you want to, but it's difficult. So close your eyes and apply the fake lashes upon your closed eyelid.

4. Start at the inner corner of your eye and then move out. Don't press them down yet though because if they are too long, cut off any extra bit with scissors. After making sure they are right length for your eyes, place them on your eyelid again and perfectly line them up. Now, using your index finger press on them firmly.

5. Put on one coat of mascara to blend the fake lashes and real lashes together so that they look more natural. You don't need more than one coat because the fake lashes already make a huge impact!
