Fashion Fun: Embracing Your Inner Child

It seems the inner child was the fashion theme of the day at Katy Perry’s 25th birthday. The singer requested her guests to wear all white to her party, which they did with fantastic style. She then flung paint over her guests, creating new brightly colored outfits. Now that’s what I call fashion fun!

This Week's Fashion Highlights:
Which celebs have been sporting some seriously cute outfits this week:

Rachel Bilson shopping at Urban Outfitters. That crop blazer is phenomenal. Just enough color, without overpowering her graphic tee.

Ivanka Trump wore a Vera Wang dress for her wedding. It was a simple yet delicately detailed dress. The lace and higher collar adds just the right touch of elegance.

Eva Green shimmers in a stunning dress at the London Film Festival.

Taylor Swift in an Amy Claire dress at Katy Perry’s birthday party. Who knew finger paint could look so good? Fashion of the Week

The Super, The So-So, and The Seriously Should Think Again:

The Super

Dianna Agron at the Environmental Media Awards. This is how one wears sheer. Just enough to add variety without taking away from the dress as a whole.

Emily Osment shows off an excellent way to dress up a boyfriend cardigan by pairing it with simple, yet classy colors.

The So-So

Olivia Wilde at the Environmental Awards. Olivia almost has it. The see through lace is a unique twist on the sheer trend but its one panel too many. Keeping it to one at the waist and one down the front would have been perfect.

Raven Symone’s body looks phenomenal but the Dita corset isn’t quite there. It emphasizes excellent curves, but does not quite flatter in all the right places.

The Seriously Should Think Again

If the stubby heels weren’t enough, Eva Mendes’ poochy hip pockets should be enough to throw this dress away.

Polling It:

Hint and Tip of the Week:
Wearing white? Here’s how to make it stand out in a crowd.
1) White top, black bottoms screams waiter. Flip it around for a uniquely elegant look.
2) Sticking with the white shirt? Accessorize. Chunky necklaces or belts can make a simple shirt pop.
3) A white dress calls for funky boots. Take the opportunity to buy those fuschia cowboy boots, a simple white dress is the perfect excuse to wear them.
