Fashion Spotlight: In the Jeans Jeans, probably the only item of clothing that will never go out of style. No matter what style, cut, or colour (even stonewash!), they have that incredibly ability to look amazing. So lets look at some of the best jean moments of 2009, and where you can pick them up for a fraction of the cost: Unique and Shorts: Ashley Tisdale had 2 of my greatest jean moments last year. The first being these incredible custom made splatter ripped jeans. They are headline grabbing, and not over done, or over ripped. These are perfect to be seen jeans. The second was this awesome pair of cut off denim shorts. Ashley had a real balmain feel with the rest off the outfit, and shorts worked wonders, I love how the pockets stick out! That is the classic slightly flarred 5 pocket jeans. They can be worn by anyone, with absolutly anything. One person who knows this is Miley Cyrus, who wore these 7 for all mankind jeans, at a press junket for Hannah Montana in Rome. Miley's: $215.00 (7 For All Mankind "A" Pocket in Vintage Honolulu) My Pick: $27.80 (I have picked a slightly darker wash, as I think this will suit more skintones) Pyramid Pocket Flare Jean FOREVER21.COM Denim Legging aka Jeggings: Thie year, the legging were given a reinvention in the form of the denim legging, or to give it it's official name - the jegging (tad silly I know, can you guess what tregging is?). I have seen some really well done denim leggings this year, but my fav have got to be Current Elliott, a prime choice among celebrities. My favourite look I have seen with these is Sarah Michelle Gellar, who teamed them with a black loose fit top, and a smart jacket. (January 6th) - Taylor Swift, at the People's Choice Awards 2010, wearing a Jenny Packham dress, and her signature up do! (January 6th) - Vanessa Hudgen, looking amazing in a sheer top, ripped jeans, and beanie, while filling up her car. (January 6th)

The Super, The So-So, and The Seriously Should Think Again: The Super Miley looks so stunning and sophsicated in these pictures taken from the February issue of 2010 Harper's Bazaar. The dress is so perfect for her, and make her look grown up. I love it. The So-So This was on ok sort of dress, I just felt it possibly was a little bit ageing and the skirt portion of the dress with a bit oversized. The Seriously Should Think Again What I didnt really like about this outfit was, there were far too many colours, didn't didnt really work together. And the dress is not doing anything for me.

Hint and Tip of the Week: Having focused a lot of this weeks column on jeans, I think a little DIY is at hand. Cut Off Shorts and Ripped Splattered jeans, are incredible easy to make, and revamp a pair of classic jeans so easily. You can even buy affordable cheap jeans at Walmart for as little as $12, so why not give it a go.
