Fashion Spotlight: New York Fashion Storm
I think it would be kinda wrong, if this weeks addition of the fashion weekly didn't include the event the fabulous Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. Celebrity and fashion folk alike turned out to watch the clothes we'll be wearing this spring, make there way down the catwalk. Big heavy weights pitted against newer incoming labels, showed off some amazing designs. So in this weeks addition, I am going to pick out some of my favourite clothes, which maybe there way down the runway, and straight into our wardrobes (imaginary of course!):

BCBG Max Azria
Would I loved most about this dress the bright splash of colour which really enhances would could have been a simple black dress.

Donna Karen
Not only do I think the colour of this dress is so flattering to a lot of different skin tones, I love the way it looks like you have been wrapped up in it like a bandage.

DooRi
I love the blue tones of the top and all the different textures used. I also think the frilled edge around the top of the shorts are amazing!

Alexander Wang
What I love most about his clothes, is the ability to make simple look so good. The shoes are not half to, I really want a pair of those!

Oscar De La Renta
The mesh skirt and all its incredibly detail, makes this dress a stunner, and the added splash of yellow is a highlight.

DKNY
There were a lot of superb clothes on the DKNY runaway, There use of print was incredibly, but a couple of my favs, is this jazzed up army style suit, bringing combat up a gear, and the flower detailing on these trouser and t-shirt, are not something I would usually go for but these totally work it.

Whitney Eve
Whitney Port's clothing line was incredible, but one of the stand outs for me was this dress with the gold detailing. The cream base, and the shimmering gold work wonders.

G-Star Raw
Blue seems to be a huge colour at this year fashion week, but I especially love this relaxed tank top, and the cute cropped denim waistcoat, as they are both clothes you could actually imagine wearing.

Hint and Tip of the Week:
Known for his big prints, Christopher Kane's new range for Topshop has just launched, and its a cracker. The piece are a bit pricers than regular Topshop attire, but there worth it. My favs are the Embellished Bodycon Dress (avalible in 3 different hues), this Embellished hooded top, and these Mesh Sandals. Try and buy at least one piece to add to your collection.
