Jessica Alba: A 'Fantastic' rising star
Biography
Jessica Marie Alba was born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981. Even when she was at the age of five, her deepest desire was to become an actress. At 12, she took her first acting class, and nine moths later, she got signed by an agent. She graduated from high school at age 16.
In 2001, she had a kidney infection. The same year she became anorexic.
She had her movie debut in the film film debut in 1993, in the comedy "Camp Nowhere". She was hired for two weeks, but one of the actresses dropped out, and she got the role instead. In 1994, she got her first TV job, with the popular Nickelodeon series "The Secret World of Alex Mack" in 1994. The same year, she won the role for Maya, in "Flipper".
She is now well known, and a respected actress in Hollywood. If you listen, you can also hear that she's mentioned in the D12 song "My Band".
