This month we catch up with Cari Gelber, author of the new teen novel Rising Star. We also talk to up and coming musician Amy Famiglietti and find out what's new with her since we last spoke in 2004!

Cari Gelber Interview
Cari Gelber has been working behind the scenes in the music industry for more then a decade, during which time she's been keeping a journal of her experiences. Recently she began working on her first novel based on that journal, the result is Rising Star a new teen novel about an eighteen-year-old manager of the band Long Story Short. We spoke with Nikki about both the novel and her experiences in the music business.

Hailing from Boston, USA, Amy Famiglietti is rising talent in the music business. We last interviewed Amy in December of 2004, and we recently caught up with her. She told us abut some of the big changes in her life since then, including the release of her debut album Broken, her experiences touring and the challenge of juggling college at the same time.
