Love her or hate her Lindsay Lohan is a big face in the entertainment scene. Not only does she have a movie career that includes a #1 film, two Oscar worth soon to be released films and a list of costars ranked among Hollywoods elite but she also has a succesful music career with hit songs like 'Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)' and 'Over'

In 2006 Lindsay appears in four films. There's the romantic comedy 'Just my Luck' in theatres now, the very musical 'A Prairie Home Companion', the historic film 'Bobby' about the assassination of Robert Keneddy and the equally historic 'Chapter Eleven', about the assasination of John Lennon.

Though 'Just my Luck' is currently receiving bad reviews though not all the critics aren blaming Lindsay. "She's an undeniable, irresistible talent." raves Christy Lemire of the Associated Press who says the film wastes Lohan's talent, "Lohan is a reliable light comedy performer with fine timing and delivery" says the Star Tribune and Chris Hewitt of Knight Ridder Newspapers says "Playing a hard-luck character gives Lohan a chance to demonstrate her gift for physical comedy and serves notice to Amanda Bynes that Lohan can do the "I Love Lucy" shtick just as well as she does. It's also a sign that Lohan, or whoever advises her, is steering her career in the right direction."

'A Prairie Home Companion' is out June 9th and stars Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson and many more; "I would look at the call sheet and I would just see these actors that I didn't believe were coming onto the set every day" Lindsay said in a recent interview. Lindsay also sings in the film. Her character does an impromptu cover of the classic 'Frankie and Johnny' in the film. The song also appears on the Soundtrack. Lindsay and costar Elijah Wood in 'Bobby'

Next up for release is 'Bobby' which was just picked up by the Weinstein company. The film currently doesn't have an exact release date but will be out by the years end. Harvey Weinstein of the Weinstein Co. is already eyeing potential Oscars for the film. He even approached Lindsay's and her manager (mother Dina) about the role, saying along with her work in "A Prairie Home Companion" she could do two Oscar campaigns this year. Something "I've aspired to my whole life" Lindsay recently told Interview magazine.

'Bobby' also features a huge A-list cast including Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and other well known names like Sharon Stone, Elijah Wood, Demi Moor, Emilio Estevez, Laurence Fishburne, Heather Graham, Helen Hunt, Joshua Jackson and Ashton Kutcher. But Weinsten raves of Lindsay "She's fantastic, and a matter of fact, a big reason for getting me involved. This is going to be a stand-out performance this year for Lindsay, absolutely."

After 'Bobby' is 'Chapter 27' in which she stars with rumored boyfriend Jared Leto. Leto plays Mark David Chapman, John Lennon's assassin.

Also coming up for Lindsay this year is her twentieth birthday in July when she'll hand over her current 'Teen Queen' crown to the new generation of teen queens. Then there's all the roles she has yet to film including 'Bill' opposite Aaron Eckhart. She'll play a teenage girl molested by her stepfather in 'Georgia Rule' alongside Oscar Winner and Nominee Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman and she'll star with Oscar Winner Adrien Brody in the romantic comedy 'Speechless'. Most recently of all she has signed on to star in 'A Woman of no Importance', an adaption of the Oscar Wilde play. The film costars Annette Bening and Sean Bean!
