Myspace Act of the Week: Holiday Parade
Sound is…
Members are… Holiday Parade is a four-piece band born in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004, whose tunes are definitely something you don’t want to miss! Even though they are unsigned, these boys are truly doing things right. Wide-ranging is likely what defines them the best; whether you’re listening to slow songs like “Walking By” or catchy tunes like “My Philosophy”, they will definitely get to you. “We are authors and architects, and through this (their music), we want to find you, find ourselves, and just maybe help you find yourself. Whether it be through laughter, tears, or simply background noise ...we want to be a part of your story.” There’s no doubt that they have it all: great writing skills, charming vocals, and they all play at least one instrument! After 2 EPs, a full length album, tours with great bands (such as MTV favorites Cartel, Drive Thru's young star Dave Melillo, and The Summer Obsession, to name a few), and over 62 thousand fans/friends on myspace, I can say that Holiday Parade is here to stay. More importantly, they are waiting for you to become a part of their story… will you? Head over to their myspace and check out their music. I recommend that you listen to “My Philosophy”, “Never enough” and “Walking By” …even though all the songs are pretty much amazing, these three are the ones I most enjoyed listening to. You can also head over to their purevolume.com profile (purevolume.com/holidayparade) and download their song “Slam Crunk” for free! Keep an eye on these four young men – soon, they’re going to be rocking everybody’s lives! ![]() (Pictures found on and property of Holiday Parade's myspace) |
