This four person band hails from Auckland, New Zealand, and they have been working hard for the last few years to get their music out there. From playing small venues around New Zealand to posting music on their Myspace, they are doing whatever it takes to get noticed. They site their influences as Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead, among others, and it definitely shows in their music. Although they might pull some traits from their influences, their sound is most definitely all their own. My favorite songs from their MySpace page would have to be “Phoenix” and “Miss Hollywood.” If you haven’t checked out their songs yet, you should. As of March 2009, their EP “Rumours of Light” is now on Itunes internationally, so people all over the world can get their digital hands on copies of their music.
