Sound Is… Anyone who has ever hosted a party has undoubtedly come to the problem of deciding what type of music to play. Hip-hop is dead. Rock for a party? Never. And rap? Ever tried to dance to rap? It looks like you're having a seizure. Thankfuly, there's Breathe Electric, a Chicago based alt-electronica band with the ability and talent to save the world from the horrors of bad dance music. These self-proffesed purveyors of MBP (maximum boogie potential) know how to create an instant hit, and that's exactly what they did. Their latest album, "Emotion" Which dropped last year is practicaly bursting with infectious rhythms and synthesizer awesomeness. The entire album is sure to get you dancing, with "Let Go" and "Emotion" being the standouts. Although they've only been a band since 2007, Breath Electric have already scored themselves a slot on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour. |
