Goat’s Milk vs. Cow’s Milk

When you hear “Goat’s Milk” your initial reaction would probably be, “What??? Gross! I have never heard of such a thing.” But you’d be surprised about the differences between goat’s milk and cow’s milk. By the end of this article you’ll probably be saying “gross” to cow’s milk, and having your parents run to the store and switching them. Today’s society is actually getting used to the fact of goat’s milk and it is in more homes than you’d think. Everyone grows up hearing about how milk gives you strong bones and is very good for you. Well if that’s what you want, you’re drinking the wrong milk. People are starting to figure out that cow’s milk is actually bad for you and can cause a lot of health problems if you continue drinking it.

Let’s start with the simple facts of why we shouldn’t drink cow’s milk.

We CANNOT digest it. The protein molecules in which it contains are too big for our bodies to break down and they must create mucous in order to fight them off. Whatever our body can’t digest, it stores. Or in other words, it turns into fat. Cow’s milk is also low in iron, which we need in order for our blood to be able to carry oxygen to every cell in our body.

Why you should switch to goat’s milk.

Goat’s milk is very easily digestible. It has 10 grams of fat per 8 ounces. Now don’t freak out. Goat’s milk contains “good” fat, which we need for our body to keep moving and working properly. It’s not the fat in which you gain and gawk at, because like I said before, that fat is made from the things we eat that our body can’t digest. Goat’s milk contains 37% more calcium, 25% more Vitamin B, and 134% more potassium. It is also known as a “whole food”. So it can be substituted as a whole meal. So let’s say you’re running late for school or work, you can just drink a glass of goat’s milk, and you’ll be taken care of until your next meal.

Health Information

Cow’s milk: will give you plaque buildup, bloating, constipation, congestion, and allergies. One of every five babies suffers from colic, which is a disease that causes a spasm-like pain in their abdomen. A lot of people who drink cow’s milk will suffer from lactose intolerance; which includes abdominal pain, diarrhea, and flatulence (passing gas). It is caused by having a shortage of vitamin B6 which let’s us produce lactate which helps us digest the lactose. What most people don’t know is that we are all affected by cow’s milk the same way that lactose intolerant people are, we just don’t show the symptoms like they do.

Goat’s Milk: has been known to take people’s sicknesses and dispose of them like magic. People who are lactose intolerant will drink goat’s milk and have no symptoms whatsoever like when they drink cow’s milk. It doesn’t harm them and it tastes great! They love it. Do you want to be strong? Or bulk up? Goat’s milk has more buffering capacity than over-the-counter drugs. It works better than steroids. Do you have diarrhea? Goat’s milk will take care of that in no time. It also fights bad bacteria that can cause infections, viruses, and many other illnesses.

Goat’s milk is not that hard to find in any grocery store. Do NOT get the powder. It does not count. It is probably worse than cow’s milk. It isn’t even real milk. It is also Genetically Modified; which is when they go into a food take all the good nutrition out of it. It is basically “messed with” and can cause a lot of health problems. So if you think you’re drinking goat’s milk and it is the powder, you are definitely wrong my friend.
