This month’s theme:
Pajama/slumber party

Invitation: Normally it is easier if everybody work together to pull of a slumber party, but if you want to make an invitation, make it bright, colorful and fun. If there’s a theme like a TV-series marathon you should make an invitation inspired by the series.

Attire: Pajamas/sweatpants/whatever is comfortable
Number of guests: about 5, avoid it getting too crowded!
Decorations: Pillows, blankets, mattresses
Activities: Games like Twister or Pictionary, facials/manicures/pedicures etc, movie or TV-series marathon, scrapbooking.
It could be fun to:tell everybody to bring their favorite teddy bear

Food
If your guests are staying till the next day you have to plan a menu consisting of dinner, snacks/ midnight snack and breakfast. Dinner should fill the stomach properly as well as being yummy, since it’s a small party be sure to cook something everybody likes!

Suitable dinner/ midnight snack suggestions:

  • Nachos (1 Recipe)
  • Quesadillas (2 Recipe)
  • Mini Pizzas (3)
  • Burgers (4)
  • Lasagna (5 Recipe)
  • Macaroni and cheese (6 Recipe)
  • Cheese fondue (7 Recipe)
  • Enchiladas (8 Recipe)

If it is an all-girl slumber party “girly” snacks is the answer! “Girly” snacks are usually bright pink and sweet. A banana split(1) or red velvet cupcakes (2 Recipe) is the sweetest dessert ever! Also be sure to stock up on your favorite chips, or serve raw vegetables and dip if you prefer!

    Breakfast suggestions:

  • Fruitplatter; A pile of all your favorite fruits
  • French toast
  • Scrambled eggs and toast
