Seasons Change
By Kat
It's that time of year; change is in the air. Days are seeming shorter and that distinctive chill is permeating the air. You can't deny it anymore, summers almost over.
Now sure, this article only speaks to those in my part of the world to whom Winter is fast approaching, others in America and surrounding nations are experiencing the growing warmth as summer approaches. We say just enjoy it and don't brag ok? ;)
But here in my little corner of the world Winter is only a few miles off and autumn is just around the corner. The trees are truning gorgeous shades of orange as they lose their leaves and we're finding ourselves unpacking our winter clothes and putting aside our T-shirts and Shorts for warmer days.
Are you dreading winter? Don't think you can survive it? Well, we've got a few tips for embracing the cold season:
Hot chocolate with Marshmellows - Partake of this delicious treat on a frequent basis. What better way to warm up those cold nights?
Get a spa installed in your back yard - What better place to be when the snows piled high but in a nice hot spa?
Curl up by an open fireplace with a good book. What better way to block out the cold and escape to the destination of your choice?
When winter does get here, do all the fun winter things. Go skiing, make a snowman, show no mercy while pelting your little brother/sister with snowballs (ok, maybe a little mercy)
And if you're still certain you can't bare the cold after our fantastic tips and you have some extra ching ching about, why not book yourself a vacation to smoe tropical island and leave those winter blues behind you!
