By Chrystal Anderson Pop music has been controlled by famous actress’s having a go at music industry. We have Hilary Duff who released her second album, Lindsay Lohan who has released her debut Album, Christy Carlson Romano known as an actress from movies such as “Cadet Kelly” and TV shows such as “Even Stevens” and the voice of Kim Possible on the cartoon “Kim Possible”. All Three famous young actresses’ have taken a chance with their music and have done very well, thus far. Hilary Duff have reached number one for many of her songs, including Fly, Come Clean, So Yesterday, and Why Not. Lindsay Lohan being new to the scene has done very well with her first single “Rumors” which soared up the charts with a dance song about being in the public eye and how precious it is to everyone to have a little privacy. Her second single “Over” is now climbing charts. There is no doubt that Christy Romano’s music will do just as good when her first single “Dive In” has been full released and the public gets another young talented actress with fan base to indulge in her music. We can’t forget about the pop singers who have worked their way up from hard work and a lot of dedication. As Britney Spears announces she’s taking a break from the music industry we find she’s pumping out singles. Her newest single “Do Somethin’” is doing well on charts and the millions of Britney fans are happy to see she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Kelly Clarkson has been riding high on her song “Since U Been Gone” which has captivated a new side of Kelly Clarkson. Jennifer Lopez is about to release another album and has let everyone get a little taste of what’s to come with her newest single “Get Right” And although Ashlee Simpson seems to have been in quite a jam with lip syncing dilemma’s no fan can pass the fact that her music is completely easy to rock out to, fun, with a little rock mixed in. Her big sister Jessica has seemed to have slowly dropped in charts but I don’t think we have any doubt she’ll be back with something.
Mario, Jesse McCartney, Usher, Ryan Cabrea, Gavin Degraw, Jay-Z & Linkin Park, Maroon 5, Good Charlotte, and Lenny Ktavtiz are doing well holding top 20 positions for guy’s and guy bands, while Kelly Clarkson, Destiny’s Child, Ciara feat Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani fet Eve, Avril Lavigne, and Ashanti are holding top 20 positions also. But we all have to give credit to Green day, who’s been around for years and is still pumping out Number One hits. They have been holding Number 1 with “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” and I am sure will see a lot of new songs from this band rise on the charts.
