Despite falling a couple of places from last year, the Lucas and Peyton fanbase is still going strong. After three years of wondering “will they?” or “won’t they?” the tortured artist and brooding writer finally got their acts together last season and reunited. Fans were delighted to watch a much-in-love and angst free Lucas and Peyton on their television screens. Although it’s now four years on and Lucas and Peyton are no longer together, it’s obvious to fans that there’s still a spark there between them. Only time will tell if Lucas and Peyton can free themselves from the obstacles that stand between them and their way back to each other again.

Ultimate Shipper Moment: Lucas’ proposal to Peyton in the flashback in episode 5x05: I Forgot to Remember to Forget. Although we didn’t get the happy outcome from it, the brooding writer’s words were just beautiful and sweet and like a lot of memorable Peyton and Lucas moments, drew on previous episode references.

Clark Kent and Lana Lang have certainly been put through the ringer during these past seven years of Smallville, haven’t they? But their fans have never doubted that the pair would always find their way back to each other, and we have the votes to prove it. Jumping up a spot from last year’s poll, Clark and Lana fans are enjoying the blissful and mature state of the pair’s relationship. They’ve overcome so much in the past year including Lana’s marriage and “pregnancy” to Lex, but they’ve found their way back together and fans couldn’t be happier. Now let’s just hope it stays that way…

Ultimate Shipper Scene: The heartbreaking scene between the pair after Lana marries Lex. It may not appear to be the most conventional choice for a shipper moment but portrayers Kristen and Tom nailed it with the angst, tears, and desperation as Lana broke Clark’s heart by marrying Lex in order to protect Clark after FINALLY discovering his secret. This scene proved how much it broke the two characters about not being together and that is was far from over.

Clark: I waited for you.
Lana: Clark.
Clark: What happened?
Lana: I’m…I’m really sorry. I, uh didn’t mean to hurt you…but I want to be with Lex

We know that in the legends they’ll end up together, but on Smallville, Clark and Lois are too busy bantering to even admit their attraction to one another! When she first came to town in season four, Lois Lane’s loud, brash, and impetuous ways did not sit quite well with Clark Kent. But that wouldn’t matter because Lois would bring out a lighter and cheekier side to Clark that no one ever could – a breath of fresh air from the heavy drama often weighing on his shoulders. Ultimate Shipper Moment: There were a lot of doubts that they wouldn’t make it when Nathan and Haley first got married, but in the end no one else’s opinion matters – just theirs. So when Haley let everyone else’s doubts get to her, Nathan calmed her fears and promised that he would always be there to protect her no matter what.

Haley: No. I’m-I’m not ready for this. I just really wanna go home to my room. You know, I’m not a wife. I’m not even a senior!
Nathan: Haley. Haley, listen this is not a mistake.
Haley: How can you be sure because there is nobody that thinks this can work.
