Hey Portrait readers. I'm Angela and i'm totally psyched to be a part of the Portrait team. I'm a first year Journalism student at university and I'd love to write for a teen magazine one day and be paid 4 it! My life revolves around Veronica Mars! (LoVe all the way!!!)Seriously! I never miss an episode on television even though I've already seen all the episodes! I would be lost without popular culture - music, movies, magazines, radio and tv are my obsession! I always have to be listening to music but I would describe my tastes as eclectic as I'm willing to give anything a go - country, pop, rock, punk, alternative, r 'n' b, emo...you name it! In my spare time I like scrapbooking and writing.

I've been an "unofficial" member of the Portrait team for about 3 years now, and I'm so glad to be a part of this awesome magazine! I'm a high school junior from California and have been living here for the majority of my life. I love to write, read, watch TV, volunteer around my community, spend time with my friends and family, shop, talk, and surf the internet. My favorite color is blue and I prefer sunny days over rainy days. (:

Well I'm just finishing my last year in school and I'll be starting university this autumn. I'm a huge Harry Potter and Twilight fan and help post news on hisgoldeneyes.com (the BEST Twilight fansite). Any Twilight fans who haven't already visited it should definitely check it out! I love reading, watching films, comedy TV shows, playing the piano and spending time with family and friends. I listen to a huge range of music so asking me which band/song/album/genre is my favourite is a big mistake because I'll just ramble on about how I really don't know!

I'm really excited to be a part of Portrait Magazine. I have a BA in Literature from Bard College and I'm currently a student at Columbia University where I'm getting my Master's in Teaching and Curriculum. I love to write and I've hard my short stories and articles published in a few places. You can read some of my writing at my website (link is below). Ideally I'd love to be able to make my living as a writer someday. My favorite leisure activity is reading. I'm always reading something and I always have at least one book nearby. My tastes range from mysteries to chick lit to YA to classics and everything in between. If you want to talk books, talk to me! I'm also a major theater geek, a movie buff, a music lover, a TV watcher, and hopefully a cool person.
