Hi! Could you please each start by introducing yourselves to our readers?
Hey...This is Ryan Simmons from Addison Road; along with Jenny Simmons, Ryan Gregg, & Travis Lawrence.

Where does the name 'Addison Road' come from?
Well, unfortunately, there is not a very exciting story with the name. We were in the middle of looking for a band name and could not agree on anything! We played this one show and we were talking to the sound tech who had just has a baby and named it...Addison. So, we really liked the name and started toying around with it. Somehow the word "road" came along and it all just stuck.

How would you describe your style of music?
This is always such a hard question... I think our music is rock/pop-rock with a female fronted voice...

What do you enjoy writing songs about the most?
I think the thing we enjoy writing about the most is just what we are dealing with in our own lives. Whether that is a song of questions or struggles, or a song that is filled with hope, they are usually all songs that can relate to one of us in one way or another.

Do you have a favorite song from your album? If so could you tell us a little about it and why you like it?
Jenny: "Hold On, Let Go is a very personal and special song to me. In April 2003, my grandfather was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. There were several things the family could chose from as far as treatments, but the results were all going to be about the same, they would only buy him a few months. My grandmother and those closest to him were torn with what to do. Life is a funny thing. We cling to life. Instead of letting people die naturally, we do a million things to keep them alive, even when their bodies are ready to go. Hold On, Let Go embodies the struggle that we face in making decisions of such great proportions. So often we want to hold on with all of our might when we need to let go, other times we let go of things too soon and we don't hold on. My grandfather died in May 2003. This song was written about him on a night when I really felt my heart breaking over his loss. However, this song can be applied to many situations in life. How often do we find ourselves in relationships, major decisions, life struggles and we wonder if we should hold on or let go? Only God can give wisdom in such situations that guides us, and only God can grant understanding when we have to let go of something precious to us."

Could you tell me a little about the story behind the song 'Walk Away'?
This song could have several meanings. It's basically about all of the things in our lives that we just need to walk away from. I think everyone can relate to that at some point in their lives. The times when you get to the place and you realize you have had enough of whatever it is in your life that you are dealing with and you just have to turn your back on it and walk away.

Who are some of your favorite bands and musicians?
Well, I can't speak for everyone, but some of my (Ryan S.) favorite bands are U2 and Coldplay. Right now I also enjoy listening to Ryan Adams, Damian Rice, and Switchfoot.

What countries do you most hope your career will allow you to visit?
I think it would be incredible for our music to open doors for us to visit any country. That would be such an amazing opportunity.

What is something you stand for in your life and strongly believe in?
Wereally believe and stand in our relationship with God. It is what motivates and causes us to do all that we do.

What's next for your music?
Well, we are in the very beginning stages of writing some new songs for a new album. So, we are excited about that. We have a couple written and recorded already.
