Hi! Could you please each start by introducing yourselves to our readers?
Hi my name is Amy Famiglietti and I am a pop singer from Massachusetts in the USA! I am 18 and am also a student at Bridgewater State College and Choreographer :)

What do you enjoy writing songs about the most?
I think it is easiest to write songs when you are upset or feeling down and a lot of my music comes from times when I am not feeling too good. It's also really easy to write songs about love because it is such a huge emotion.

Which of your songs is your favorite and why?
I love my song "Just Let Me Be!" I just get so into it when I perform! It is really powerful and has a cool beat :)

What is something you think needs to change about the music industry as it is today?
A lot of people in the music industry don't have much live talent! I love people like Kelly Clarkson and Jessica Simpson because they kick but live! You are a true entertainer if you can sound exactly like your record while singing live!

What countries do you most hope your career will allow you to visit?
I'd love to go to Italy! I heard it is really beautiful and I love Italian food! I'd also love to visit Australia! I almost got the opportunity to go over there to shoot a commercial, but plans fell through :(

Lets travel into a strange zone for a second. If you could travel to outer space which planet would you like to visit?
Hmmmm....Jupiter! It has such a unique shape and color to it hehe

Back to normal. What is something you stand for in your life and strongly believe in?
I believe in being yourself and being real. I see how some people mold themselves into things they are not to gain acceptance and I'm not into that. If people don't like me for me than what can I do? I'm also largely against drugs, smoking and drinking. I don't understand why all of these people get mixed in with these things that can completely ruin their lives. It's really sad.

You're in college at the moment, what are you majoring in?
I am majoring in Dance Education! It's a great major!

If you were to get a record deal before graduating would you quit school?
I would definitely take a break from school. My passion is singing and performing and to get signed and get a record deal would be accomplishing my dreams and goals and I wouldn't let school get in the way of that.

Would you consider entering American Idol 2005 or would you prefer to continue taking the path you're on now?
I've tried to audition for America Idol and it was crazy! I didn't even get in because there were so many people! I think I would prefer to stay on the path I am on now. That show is so ruthless and cut throat! lol

What are some musicians you admire? Who would you like to do a duet with?
I would love to duet with Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson. I love Britney she is a great performer/entertainer and she is my role model and really gave me the drive to pursue my career on a different level. I'd love to duet with Jessica because she seems so down to earth and has an amazing voice!

What CDs are in your CD player at the moment?
Right now the new Kelly Clarkson CD and the Lindsay Lohan CD are in rotation in my CD player hehe

Happy new year. What's on the horizon for your music in 2005?
Happy new Year!!! You can definitely expect a few different sounds. I am playing around with some hip hop, rock and R&B! We are going to try to cover it all! hehe
