You’re in the upcoming movie, Spectacular! Are you excited?
Very! I think it is going to be great. I had so much fun filming it and there was such a great atmosphere on set. I’m excited to see the reaction it will get.

What’s the movie about?
Spectacular! is about a show choir group that finds itself in trouble when they lose their best singer, Royce de Lac. I play Tajid, a member of the school’s show choir who helps put the group back on track. I actually didn’t know what show choir was until I got the role; being Canadian there aren’t too many show choir groups.

What’s your character like?
Tajid is an exchange student and a member of the show choir group who is a kind of a brainiac. He helps solve some big problems for the group and he’s really passionate about show choir.

Are you anything like him?
Not really, no, but I do think we have our passion in common—he is a very passionate guy and he loves show choir much the same way I love acting. So I understand where he comes from.

What’s your most memorable moment from set?
The entire experience was a blast, on and off screen the cast just hung out and had a good time. But the most memorable moment was probably watching scary movies in the hotel room with everyone.

Did you have any embarrassing moments on set?
I don’t know if I had any embarrassing moments per se, but having to dance with professional dancers came close at times!

Which song from the soundtrack is your favourite?
“Something to Believe In”

Confess…did you have a crush on any of your co-stars?
Maybe ?

When is the movie coming out?
Early 2009

What will you be doing to celebrate the release?
I’m probably going to hang out with Victoria and the cast and watch it. And now onto some random questions!

What are you planning to do for Christmas?
I’m going to spend Christmas in Vancouver, that’s where I’m from; it’s such an amazing place around Christmas time. There is nothing like warm tea by the fire when it’s cold outside. I’m kind of a romantic when it comes to the Christmas holiday.

Describe yourself in 3 words.
Weird, Diverse, Happy

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Paris, France. I love French films and culture. The French seem as if they know how to live life.

Who’s your celebrity crush?
Natalie Portman

What are your hobbies?
I play guitar and piano, I collect a lot of stuff (mostly junk) and I love movies.

Which is your favourite sport?
My father is English so I grew up playing soccer

Tell me a secret!
In the third grade I stole an eraser from Jeremy Franco, I would like to go on record and say, I’m sorry Jeremy but I needed your eraser.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve had in your mouth?
I had a model airplane in my mouth when I was 4. I think I ended up choking on it actually.

What irrationally annoys you?
People who text and drive. It’s not very smart.

What’s your most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession is probably my iPod—I love music, I’m into all different types and my iPod has it all.

Do you have a myspace? If yes, what is it?
No, I don’t. Until December when my website is up, you can look me up on IMDb.
