Hey! Can you please introduce yourself?
My name is Brock Storm. I am 17 years old and I am an upcoming punk rock singer.
What got you into music?
When I was 5, I sang in my aunt's wedding. I knew I wanted to have a career in music ever since then. I just became infatuated with performing for people.
Why did you choose punk rock as a genre to sing?
I grew up singing country music because I was brought up on it. When I was old enough, I started experimenting with all different kinds of music. I love everything from country, pop, rock, and everything in between. Somehow I ended up with a punk sound although my sound has elements from all the music I enjoy.
Who plays the instruments in your songs?
On the recording, my producer played all the instruments. When I perform live, I have some guys I know play for me. I am learning to play guitar so that I can eventually do some acoustic sets too!
Why should people be encouraged to listen to your music?
I encourage people to listen to my music because it's real. My music is special because I know what average life is like and I sing about stuff that people can actually relate to. If people will give my music a chance, I believe they will see what makes it different.
What are your hopes for 2007?
I would really like to reach out to even more people than I have this year with my music. I have a lot of stuff planned so, everyone should keep their eyes open!..haha
Though you’re only young, you want to make it big. Why?
I want to make it big because I want people to see that anything is possible. I know that there are tons of young people who feel like they aren't good enough to accomplish big things. I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE FEELING! so...I want to bring some hope to all of those people.
What are your inspirations when you work?
When I work, I just think about how I want to be like all of the awesome artists that I respect so much like Gwen Stefani and Fall Out Boy.

What is your process of song-writing?
I don't have a set process of how I write. If I have a thought that is important to me, I just write it down.
Who are your role models and why?
I really look up to Gwen Stefani because she is so creative and I like the fact that she is known for her music and not because she stays in the tabloid magazines. I also really look up to Fall Out Boy a lot because the lead singer has one of the best voices I've ever heard in my opinion.
Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?
I can see myself maturing alot with my music in the next 10 years and growing with my audience. I also really want to move to L.A..
If you could work with anyone or any band, who would it be?
GWEN STEFANI! I think I would sell my soul to collaborate with her.
