Hey! Please introduce yourself.
My name is Cody McMains.
What got you into acting?
Probably when I was extremely little, my brother was an actor and I saw him in a commercial. I always really admired my brother, always looked up to him so I told my mum that’s what I want to do. She happened to know a couple of people in there so she just mixed me up in there and that’s basically it.
What future projects can we expect from you?
There are a couple of independent films that I just finished and one of them is the Intervention and the other one is called Vicious Circle.
What are your hopes for 2007?
To be completely honest, pilot season is in a couple of weeks so my hopes for 2007 are getting a lead in a TV show and settling down for 5 years on a network. Those are my hopes!
Who are your role models and why?
For acting role models, I have to say my first favourite movie was The Rock with Sean Connery, don’t ask me why! But it was and Sean Connery is one of my favourite actors! I don’t really have an answer to why he influences me and makes me become a better actor but he does for some reason! That’s my acting role model. In life, I’d say my dad! Because he’s one of the most stand-up guys I’ve ever met. He’s honest, blunt, to the point and gets jobs done. I just really admire him for that and I am inspired to be more open and be like him.
What are your passions and concerns for the world?
I have a lot of issues with society and the world today but I look at what I do on a regular basis and I would be contradicting everything I say. That’s my point! People put up all these complaints about the environment and then they drive BMW’s and pollute the air. It’s just a big contradiction for me. I’m not big in the environment and politics. I drive a car so I can’t really talk.

Ambitious. Awkward. Sometimes a jerk.
Who are the top people you’ve met and why?
When I was 15 I did a movie with Peter Fonda, he’s amazing. He was just a really down to earth and nice guy! I was young at the time and he put his hand out and made me feel welcome on the set and I didn’t feel like a kid around him. So Peter Fonda and probably either Alec Baldwin or Rick Moranis…He’s such a nice guy!
If you could do anything for one day, what would you do?
If I could have a one day crash course in base jumping and not kill myself, I’d so do that!
Which movie was your favourite to film?
Not Another Teen Movie definitely! It was the most fun thing I’ve ever done so far!
Have you kept in contact with actors from the movies you’ve acted in?
Myspace baby!!
If you could change something about your life, what would it be?
Happiness. I strive for that ultimate happiness.
How does it feel to be a role model and have people look up to you?
I don’t really know. I don’t get to walk on a street and have people run up to me and tell me that they love me. Doesn’t happen that often. But I’ve never really thought of people looking up to me. There’s been a handful of times where people have come up to me and asked me for help because they think I know what to do. Makes me feel good as long as I can help someone with what I strive to become.
If you could be a super hero, who would you be?
I would have to say…the juggernaut! [score!! He didn’t say batman! I love this guy!]

I know how to ride a unicycle and juggle at the same time!

What do you look for in a girl?
Her name is Catherine and she’s everything I ever wanted! I have a girlfriend that I love very much and she just moved in. I guess what I look for in a girl is dark hair, a pretty smile and a great attitude to life. That pretty much covers her.
