Hey! Can you please introduce yourself?
Hi everyone, I’m Corbin Bleu
What got you into music?
I’ve been singing in choir since I was in elementary school. When I was in my sophomore year of High School I played Ren in Footloose which is a role that requires very strong vocals. It was at this point that I started to get really serious about my singing and started training.
Why should people be encouraged to listen to your music?
I think people would enjoy my music because it’s feel good music. It’s music that has a positive energy about it and really makes you want to get up and dance.
How long did it take for you to make it?
About 5 months
What are your hopes for 2007?
I hope that my fans enjoy my album and that it is well received. And I hope to continue remaining active in my acting career.
Though you’re only young, you are already quite big. Why is that important to you?
Being “Big” was never the emphasis when it comes to what I do. I’m just happy that I’ve been given many wonderful opportunities to do what I love doing at such a young age.
What are your inspirations when you work?
I usually use the things that are the biggest influences in my life at the time.
What is your process of song-writing?
I usually start with an idea for a concept, and from there on it’s a free for all. The biggest thing to remember is that true inspiration doesn’t come from a robotic process.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I would really love to be able to direct and produce. Most of all I want to do feature films and play very diverse characters.
Who are your role models and why?
My Parents, Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Prince, and Michael Jackson. I feel that all of these people are true artists and entertainers who are focused on the work and push themselves to be the best that they can be.
What got you into acting?
I started doing commercials and print work when I was 2 back in New York. My Dad is an actor as well so he’s pretty much been my mentor.
What are you passions/concerns for the world?
I feel that kindness and respect are the most important and valuable things anyone can give. I think everyone should try their best to treat others with the kindness and respect they deserve.
What was your favourite movie/tv show to film and why?
When I was younger I guest starred on a T.V. show called Born Free. I got to play an autistic child who could communicate with animals. I got to work with a lion, a lion cub, a baboon, a cockatoo, and a blind kangaroo. I love animals so this was definitely one of my most memorable projects.
Have you kept in contact with other actors from your movies?
Most of them actually, and we still get to hang out.

How does it feel to be a role model of so many people out there?
I know I’ve always had my role models, and to be able to be the person that so many kids look up to is such an honor. I feel very blessed.
What’s the nicest thing a fan has said to you?
That they hoped one day they would be able to work with me…with me! It was so cool.
What do you look for in a girl?
Honesty is the quality that I appreciate the most.
How do you balance your career and your normal life?
I have an amazing supportive family that keeps me grounded and is the base of everything for me. If it wasn’t for them, I would be able to do it.
