So you’re on One Tree Hill! Tell us about the show.
Season #6 of OTH has had many ups and downs, and surprises so far for all the characters, including Jamie. Can you say Scary Carrie??
Tell us about your character, James.
Jamie is a kid who is sometimes emotional and serious, but most of the time he is an active boy that just loves his family.
What’s the hardest thing about playing James?
The hardest thing about playing Jamie, right now, is the fact that I have to wear an appliance (fake teeth) until my front top teeth finish coming in. You know Jamie is only five and I’ll be eight January 21st.
Are you and James anything alike?
Jamie and I both LOVE sports. Jamie mostly plays basketball, which I enjoy as well. But I recently started to take tennis lessons which is becoming my new favorite.
Have you had any embarrassing moments on set?
There is one embarrassing moment! I was filming a scene while lying in my parents bed with the camera directly above my face. I got caught on close-up by an Executive Producer picking my nose between takes.
Which episode was your favourite to film and why?
All the episodes are fun to film because Jamie always has something different and challenging to do. My favorite episodes are the ones where I get to do all Jamie’s stunts myself. Like almost drowning in the pool during Season #5, but many secret stunts coming during Season #6.
Who from the cast are you closest to?
That’s a tough one. I enjoy working and playing with all my cast mates. But I think Sophia Bush and I are the closest. We enjoy having pizza and playing Wii together. She gives great hugs too!
What would you like to happen on the show?
I’m not really sure what I would like to see happen on the show, maybe I should just leave that to the writers. They have made everything about the show great already!

Do you have any upcoming projects?
My current schedule on OTH is keeping me pretty busy, but I look forward to other film and television opportunities, as well as continuing on OTH.

Favourites
Colour – My favorite color changes all the time, but right now it is blue because whenever I wear that color I’m told it “makes my eyes pop”. My eyes are blue.
Food - Pizza is my favorite food, but I never eat the crust. That part I leave to my mom and dad, besides it doesn’t have any cheese on it.
Candy – My favorite candy is a Snicker’s bar because my dad tricked me into trying one saying it didn’t have peanuts, before I actually liked peanuts. Now I LOVE peanuts, especially when watching a Dodger’s baseball game.
Ice cream - Oh that’s easy!!! Ben & Jerry’s Cookies & Cream. I’ve had to eat a lot of ice cream when filming OTH scenes, but what kid wouldn’t enjoy that! It’s a tough job, but some one has to do it!
TV show – That would have to be ‘Two and a Half Men’ because I really like the theme song, and comedies are GREAT!
Website – I am totally addicted to You-Tube. I spend lots of time watching different videos about beat-boxing and “Fred” the boy who has a voice like a chipmunk. “Fred” is sooooo funny!
Book – My favourite book series is ‘The Magic Tree House’ because they are filled with action and a lot of adventures.
Movie – My favourite movie is Rush Hour. I love comedies, and Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are hilarious together. Their acting is great.
If you were a super hero, who would you be?
If I were a super hero I would choose to be Flash Gordon because he can run really fast at supersonic speed and he can catch all of his enemies in one day. Although I don’t have any enemies, I could use my speed to visit all my friends in one day.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
AUSTRALIA!! It seems like a cool place to go, and I really want to see kangaroos.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are reading, tennis, watching TV, and most recently I’ve started collecting guitar picks since I went to my first concert. I have a Sugarland, Angels & Airwaves and two Enation guitar picks.
Tell me a secret!
A secret? I like house cleaning. I don’t do laundry.
What do you find more boring than watching paint dry?
Watching the news on TV is pretty boring to me. I might actually enjoy watching paint dry more!
What is your nickname?
I have a couple nicknames. My mom calls me “chubs” because when I was a baby I was fat and round like a roly poly. At work everyone just calls me Jack, Jacks or Jack-Son (that’s Atwon).
