Hi! Could you please each start by introducing yourselves to our readers?
My name is Justin Stein and I am an eighteen year old singer/actor/songwriter/dancer from Chicago IL.
You’re currently opening for Corbin Bleu’s summer tour. How has the tour been so far?
The tour has been fantastic! I have had a blast meeting everyone at the different venues and seeing so much of the country I hadn’t witnessed before. It really is beautiful. Corbin is a great guy. I am very lucky to be touring with such a sincere person and an incredible performer. He really has taught me so much both onstage and off. Its just been an incredible experience.
What has been your favorite moment of touring so far?
I would have to say getting to perform. Its what I love to do. The energy between the audience and me is the most incredible feeling. I also love meeting everyone after the shows. Being able to talk to the people after the concert and realizing that I actually did touch them or influence them positively in some way is really what this is all about.
Have you had any crazy experiences with fans?
Um… lets see… Well, one girl gave me a giant stuffed unicorn named Lysentay… it lives on the back of my bus…
One time a girl wrote a song for me and sang it to me on the spot. That was pretty cool.
You’ve caught the attention of Radio Disney and the Disney Channel. Could you see yourself going a similar route with the network as the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus? Would you be interested in acting or is music your one true love?
I am also an actor so pursing a career in film and television is definitely a road I wish to travel. I’m really happy right now touring and working on music… but I am definitely going to pursue acting more heavily in the near future… so watch out for me, haha!
How would you describe your music?
It’s a fusion of pop/rock/and R&B.
All of the songs I write are based off of different life experiences I have had. Some songs are based on past relationships while others are about just letting lose and having fun. I try to put all of me in every song so that people can connect. Hopefully there is something in there for everyone.

Do you have an album out or coming out soon?
Yes I do! My album is self titled and drops in the fall, and it will be up on itunes by the end of September (this month).
Which of your songs is your favorite and why?
Probably "Sweetest Girl" or "I'll Never Look Away." I love writing and singing ballads. They both give me an opportunity to feel the song and really dig in, you know? There's just a lot of real emotion in both of them… especially "I'll Never Look Away."
What is something you think needs to change about the music industry as it is today?
More control to the artists. I also am constantly telling friends not to download music off of music sharing sites. There are a lot of struggling artists out there who, because of technology, aren’t getting what they should be for their work. I understand how easy it is to download music illegally, but that certainly doesn’t make it right!
What countries do you most hope your career will allow you to visit?
Italy is awesome! I was really lucky I got to travel there when I was younger with my family and I really want to go back! I have never been to London and really want to go. I think I would like it a lot there. I would love to go to Spain, for real Spanish food… I like to eat! I've also always been fascinated with Africa, so I would love to go there as well!
What is something you stand for in your life and strongly believe in?
I believe in and stand for family and treating others the way you would like to be treated. Life is a series of building blocks. If you don’t put in the work now, you are going to have to do it later if you want to achieve your goals. Also, doing what you love, and following your dreams.
What are some musicians you admire? Who would you like to do a duet with?
I think Stevie Wonder is incredible. Definitely one of the greatest songwriters of our time. I'm also a big fan of Ne-yo, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Rascall Flatts, and Usher, I listen to all types of music. I'd probably like to do a duet most with Celine Dion. She’s an incredible vocalist.
What CDs are in your CD player at the moment?
Maroon 5: "Songs about Jane"
Stevie Wonder: "Songs in the Key of Life"
Justin Timberlake: "Futuresex/lovesounds"
