Hi! Could you please each start by introducing yourselves to our readers?
Hey! I'm Katelyn Tarver- I'm a recording artist who sings pop music. I'm from a small town in GA. I just turned 16 years old and I'm a sophomore. I love hanging out with my friends and family- and I love to sing!
Tell us about your debut album 'Wonderful Crazy'.
'Wonderful Crazy' is just a really fun, pop album. It's not depressing or angry it's just really fun to listen and sing along to!
Which of your songs on the album is your favorite and why?
I really like " Wonderful Crazy" because it talks about your life and how its wonderful and crazy all at the same time and I can really relate to that! I also like "Something In Me" because I'm from small town in GA and that song talks about coming from a small town and just going after your dreams and making them come true.
You were a finalist on American Idol Juniors. How did you find the experience?
American Juniors was an awesome experience! Like I said, I'm from a very small town and all the sudden I'm in Hollywood on a national television show! So it was crazy but so much fun!
You just celebrated your birthday in November. What did you do to celebrate?
Well I'm still trying to schedule my sweet sixteen party but I keep having to reschedule it because of my schedule and my friends but..I will have one! On the day of my birthday my family woke me up with an airhorn and silly string at 7:30 in the morning! ha--so that was fun. I had a really good birthday though...I was just excited to finally be able to drive!
You have a section on your site where you write letters to your fans. How important is it to you to stay in touch with fans?
I think it's very important because without them I'm not here!
What one achievement is the most important to you in your future career?
I really want to be on TRL! haha--I always watch it and I think it'd be awesome to be on there. I also want to do a big tour and perform in front of thousands of people!

You starred as Barbie in The Barbie Diaries. Is acting something you want to do more of in the future?
Yeah-filming The Barbie Diaries was a lot of fun! Singing and performing is my first love but acting is fun to!
What countries do you most hope your career will allow you to visit?
I've never been to England and I think it would be awesome to go there. Australia would be cool to! I love their accents ha!
What are some current musicians you admire?
I really like Kelly Clarkson! I think she has an awesome voice and she seems really cool. I also like John Mayer--he's so creative and his songs are really good.
I read that it's very important to you to be a good role model for your fans. What are some of your role models?
My parents are my role models. They sacrifice so much for our family and they are just awesome people. I think it's important to have good values and I look up to people with strong values.
Tell us about your faith.
I grew up in a Christian home and my faith and my values are very important to me. A lot of people ask me why I'm not a Christian singer but I just feel like a lot of doors have opened for me in the mainstream market and I'm just excited to walk through them!
What's next for you in the foreseeable future? Are you touring? Are you working on another album?
Performing! I just met with Radio Disney and hopefully I'll be able to some Radio Disney shows and I'm going to be on the Radio Disney Incubator so I was very excited about that!
