You are a world renowned gymnast. How did you get started?
Both of my parents were gymnasts. My dad competed at the 1988 Olympics and won two gold and two silver medals. My mom was a rhythmic world champion gymnast in 1987. I guess it’s always been in my blood! I fell in love with the sport the minute I could walk.
What has been your most memorable moment in your career so far?
Winning the all around gold at the 2008 Olympic Games.
What’s the hardest thing about being a gymnast?
The constant day to day, 7 hours of training.
Do you ever feel that you get tired and just want to stop for a while?
Of course I get tired sometimes, but when I have a goal and dream in mind, nothing can stop me.
What are your targets regarding gymnastics?
Now that I have achieved my first big goal, its time to set new ones! My next goal is to compete this year and represent my country at the 2009 World championships in London.
You’re the face of BCBG! How did that feel?
AMAZING! Such an honor! When I see the images, I am still like, “Is that really me?!”
Are you interested in modelling/acting?
YES!!!! I would love to do more modelling and acting. I love getting to do photo shoots for different things, and I would love to do more!

Determined. Outgoing. Caring.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to go to Europe for 2 weeks and just visit all the amazing cities. Or the Bahamas.
What are your hobbies?
Shopping, Spending time with friends & family. Reading, Listening to music.
If you were stuck on a desert island with only three things, what would they be and why?
My blackberry to stay in touch with people (And of course help me out!) My MacBook Air (To ichat my friends!) Food (Obvious reasoning)

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Snail. Cow’s Tongue. (EW)
How would you survive a crocodile attack?
Probably not. I am very afraid of crocodiles.
What irrationally annoys you?
When my pants are too short.
What’s the weirdest rumour you’ve heard about yourself?
Certain people that I was around at appearances, then all the sudden I am dating them. It’s actually quite funny.
Young girls are worrying about their image due to the media portraying “perfect women.” What advice would you give to those girls?
Be proud of who you are and what you have. There are so many people less fortunate then you!
