Hey Savana thanks for doing this interview!
No problem I’m happy to do it!

Could you start by telling the readers a little about yourself?
Well, I’m Savana and I’m really a regular 16 year old girl, but I’m also a singer trying to make it in the business.

So tell us a little bit about the album you are working on.
My debut album is going to be called “Fearless” and it will have 12 tracks, the first single will most likely be the song “DONE.” I’m really excited about it, because it’s my first real chance to show the entertainment world who I am.

Do you write your songs also? if so which song was your favorite to write so far?
Yes! I wrote all the songs on the album. I play piano on some of the tracks also! I have 2 favorite songs that will be on it, “Fearless” and a song called “It’s Raining.” Fearless is an all girl power song, kind of like a girl anthem. I like that kind of thing a lot, because girls rock. And “It’s Raining” is all about picking yourself back up after you fall. It’s inspirational to me, it helped me get back up and start again after I was rejected.

Which song is your favorite over all?
I really like what happened to “What Can I do” in the studio. In the beginning it was different, and it had a whole different beat to it. My producers and I just decided to try something else, and we created that middle part in it where it totally changes unexpectedly. I loved that!!

What part do you like doing best the writing, recording, or performing live?
Well, I like writing but only if I’m really inspired. Recording is fun, but I really love to perform live. Nothing beats that! I love when the crowd is really into it, that’s the best part!

Do you get nervous before you go on stage?
Not always. if it’s for something important, I do get a few butterflies, but not too much. Being nervous is normal, it means you care and I never want to stop caring.

How did you get started singing?
I started when I was really little. I started voice lessons when I was 8. I started singing around the county in talent shows and fairs, and then when I was 13 I sent my tape into “America’s Most Talent Kids’’ and made it on to the finale of the third season. After that, I was just singing everywhere and ‘honing’ my songwriting skills. I started to record this cd after I turned 16.

Who is your role models?
Kelly Clarkson. She’s my favorite singer, and my total role model. I’ve loved her since I was 12, so she really taught me a lot of things, like hard work and class, and that “God will never give you something you can’t handle so don’t stress.” I also joke that she taught me how to sing, because I remember just watching her on tv, and singing to her cds in my room thinking “ok, Kelly hit that note. So I’m gonna hit it and it’s gonna sound good and I’m not leaving the room until it does!”

Who are some of the singers you admire?
Kelly of course! Also, some of my favorites are Alanis Morisette, The Veronicas, Pink, Pat Benetar, Avril lavigne, and I really love Carrie Underwood. She’s too cute!

What is next for your career after you finish this album?
I’m not quite sure, whatever comes my way! I’m in talks with some management companies who are saying some real cool stuff about television shows and MTV and such, but nothing is for sure AT ALL yet. It’s all just talk now! I DEFINITLY want to tour this summer hopefully, I would love to play as someone’s opening act I think that would be fun!

What peice of advice would you give to aspiring singers?
I would say to never, ever give up. This may sound really dorky, but go with me here. I kind of visualize being a ‘famous’ singer as slamming your head up against a brick wall. You’re hitting, you’re losing IQ points from the brick slamming into your head, but you’re still giving it all you got, and as people start helping you and you start getting more fans, they start banging their heads up against it as well (because they’re helping get your name out and everything) . And, After a while and many, many concussions, it finally breaks. But you have to keep pushing!!

Thank you so much for doing this interview! Is there anything you want to say to your fans?
Just that they ROCK and they are so much cooler than anyone else’s fans no matter what they may say! And I love getting your messeges and comments on my myspace keep em coming guys!!
