    Teddy: Hi. How are you?
    Me: Fine, how are you?
    Teddy: I'm great.
    Me: What are you doing?
Teddy: I'm on the phone with you.
Me: Well, what else are you doing, like right now?
Teddy: Um, I'm clicking a pen and sitting in a chair.
    Me: Oh, fun.
    Teddy: Very fun
Me: Do you want to do serious or fun questions first?
    Teddy: Totally up to you.
Me: Ok, we'll do fun first.
    Teddy: Ok.
Me: Fun's usually better for me.
    Teddy: Awesome
Me: If you could have any super powers, what would you pick?
Teddy: I think i'm gonna go with flying.
    Me: Why?
Teddy: Why? Because that'd probably be the most fun.
Me: What superhero would you be? like batman or spiderman...
Teddy: I would definitely not be batman
    Me: Why?
Teddy: Because Batman doesn't really have any superpowers. i'm gonna go with spiderman.
    Me: Why?
Teddy: Cuz he...I don't know, everything that spiderman does.
Me: What's you're favorite kind of coffee?

Teddy: Um, huh, I'd say just straight up coffee.
    Me: Caffeine?
    Teddy: Huh?
    Me: Any caffiene is good?
    Teddy: Yeah, sure.
    Me: What's your biggest insecurity?
Teddy: Biggest insecurity... um... I'm not sure
Me: You don't have any insecurities?
Teddy: I have insecurities, I just don't know I don't know what my biggest would be. um...um...
Me: We can skip that if you want.
    Teddy: Yeah, we'll skip that.
Me: There's a lot to choose from.
    Teddy: Exactly.
Me: What's the best way for a girl to get your attention?
Teddy: Um... huh...that's hard as well. I don't know, i guess just be outgoing and um and have interesting conversations.
    Me: Interesting... you're a conversationalist.
    Teddy: Yes.
Me: How did you get interested in music?
Teddy: Um, I don't know. I just kind of always played music from the time I was really little. Um, so I guess I was always really interested, and then I got this Weezer tape, of just the Weezer album, and I loved that a lot. And that actually made me want to play guitar, and that's when I picked up the guitar. Um, and then I got Whatever and Ever Amen by Ben Folds Five, and uh, that's my favorite album, and that was a huge reason why I started writing music.
Me: I love Whatever and Ever Amen! It's so good.
    Teddy: Mmmhmmm. Me too.
Me: I'm learning to play guitar. I'm teaching myself, so I was wondering...how hard was it for you to teach yourself?
Teddy: Really? I don't know. I just kind of picked it up over time. It was I guess medium? It was medium hardness.
    Me: (Laughing) Medium hardness!
    Teddy: (Laughing) Yeah.
Me: I just started playing Green Day songs and stuff one day.
    Teddy: Really? That's good!

Me: Thanks. Okay, here's another hard question.
    Teddy: All right.
Me: What's your outlook on love right now?
Teddy: (Laughing) Oh man! This is hard! Um, I don't know. Love is good?
    Me: (Laughing) Love is good?
    Teddy: Love is good.
Me: Okay, so do you like solo shows or shows with your band better?
Teddy: I like shows with the whole band.
Me: Does it make you less nervous to have them up there with you?
Teddy: Um...no. I'm not really nervous. I used to be, but now I just have the same amount of nervousness.
Me: Why shows with the band?
Teddy: It's just more fun with them.
Me: What's your idea of beautiful?
Teddy: (laughing) Um...these questions are really hard! Beautiful is beautiful.
Me: It's like a word game. I like it!
Teddy: Yeah, just what the dictionary says, I don't have one now.
Me: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Teddy: However long it takes me to shower and put clothes on.
Me: So if you woke up and had to be somewhere in 15 minutes you could make it?
    Teddy: Yes, I'd make it.
Me: Not counting traffic of course.
Teddy: Yeah, I could make it if we don't count traffic.
Me: How about, what do you think is your best feature?
Teddy: Um...I never thought about it...I don't know.
Me: I'd say your eyes or your hair. I like them.
    Teddy: Thanks!
Me: Your voice is really good as well.
Teddy: (Laughing) Thanks! I'm glad you think so!
Me: (Laughing) No problem! What's your idea of the perfect date?
    Teddy: Um...these are hard questions!
    Me: I'm sorry.
Teddy: It's not your fault, you're good, it's my fault. Um...I don't know because I haven't had the perfect date yet, so I'm not sure what it'd be like. I'll let you know if I ever do.
Me: (Laughing) You're not the walk on the beach in the sunset type guy?
Teddy: (Laughing) I don't know, maybe. We'll see.
Me: (Laughing) Well, there's something for you to try sometime.
Teddy: (Laughing) Yeah, next time I'm by the beach I'll go walk on the beach and see how I like it.
Me: (Laughing) Yeah! What's your guilty pleasure music-wise?
    Teddy: Mariah Carey.
Me: Ooo, that's a good guilty pleasure.
    Teddy: (Laughs) Thanks!
Me: Ok, I feel the need to explain this first, so here's the question. Who's your guy crush? A guy crush is like if you were a girl, what guy would you want to date.

Teddy: I don't think I have one. (Laughs) Probably Boy George.
Me: (Laughing) That's a very feminine man.
Teddy: Yeah, but he was in the Culture Club.
Me: Well, he'll tumble for ya!
    Teddy: (Laughs...okay, cracks up!)
Me: Yeah, sorry, I'm a dork.
Teddy: No, it's funny. I'm glad you make me laugh!
Me: Okay, thanks! What's your ringtone?
Teddy: Um, it's just your standard ring that came with the phone.
Me: Well that's no fun. You should be happy when your phone rings.
Teddy: I am happy when my phone rings.
Me: Yeah, but I mean because of your ringtone. Like, my ringtone is The Killers or you. You're my ringtone now, and when my phone rings I'm like "Yay!"
Teddy: (Laughs) Okay, I'll get one.
Me: If you could go back and change one thing in your life, what would it be and why?
    Teddy: Um...I don't know.
Me: Nothing jumps out at you?
Teddy: No, I like where I am now, so I wouldn't want to change anything.
Me: Well, if I was where you are I probably wouldn't change anything either.
Teddy: Yeah, just where I am in my life now...I'm really happy with.
    Me: Good, I'm glad.
    Teddy: Thanks.
Me: What was your favorite subject in school?
    Teddy: Biology.
Me: Were you good at it?
Teddy: I guess, I got decent grades. I just liked it because we watched a lot of movies.

Me: I feel like I was ripped off from the high school experience!
    Teddy: Why?
Me: We never watched movies in my biology class.
Teddy: Never? Did you take biology?
Me: Yeah, I took it, and we never watched one movie.
    Teddy: I'm sorry.
    Me: I was robbed!
    Teddy: (Laughs)
Me: If you could get advice from anyone, dead or alive, who would it be, and what would you ask?
Teddy: I would ask Jesus what the purpose of life is.
Me: That's a very deep question.
Teddy: He may not know the answer, but that's okay.
Me: Speaking of Jesus, what are you giving up for Lent?
    Teddy: Lent's coming up?
Me: Yes, tomorrow's Ash Wednesday. Today's Fat Tuesday, I think.
Teddy: Um...maybe I won't give anything up for Lent.
    Me: Just skip it?
Teddy: Yeah, we'll just skip it this year.
Me: All right. What's your best childhood memory.
Teddy: I had a dream that me and my dad went into the room and we could fly.
Me: Like in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?
Teddy: Yes, but without the fans.
Me: Definitely, fans would make it more of a nightmare. Eww, like Final Destination 3.
    Teddy: (Laughs)
Me: I saw it last week, and I'm scarred for life.
    Teddy: (Laughs) Yeah.
Me: If you have any spare time, what do you do?
Teddy: Um...I just record songs and write songs...and eat.
    Me: That's good, more music.
    Teddy: Exactly!
Me: What's an average day for you?
Teddy: Well, every day's different. Yesterday I did a photoshoot, today I'm doing this with you, and tomorrow I'm going to Canada to do some...thing.
Me: You get a variety of days.
Teddy: Yes, a variety. If I'm on the road I get up and hang around for a while, do soundcheck, play a show, and then go frolick around the town.
Me: What's your favorite reality TV show?
Teddy: I don't know...I don't watch that much TV. Probably The Real World, it's the original. Some could say Jeopardy.
    Me: Jeopardy's a game show.
    Teddy: But it's real.
Me: (Shocked) It is real! I never thought of that.
    Teddy: (Laughs)
Me: (Teasing/Laughing) You're messing up my questions!
    Teddy: (Laughing/Teasing) Oh no!
Me: Thanks for doing the interview.
Teddy: No problem, it was fun.
    Me: (Laughing) Bye.
    Teddy: Thanks. Bye Amanda!
    Me: Bye Teddy!
