Mothers Day Special

May 11th marks Mothers Day. It is a day dedicated for celebration and thanks to all our Mothers. So if you want to give back to your mum and let her know how much you appreciate her, take some of our tips.
Take her out for a nice lunch or afternoon
tea or you could even put your own afternoon tea on.
Instead of wasting money on a card or
present that does not mean much why not
get creative and make something special.
Find a photo with you and your mum in
it that reminds you of a special time or
moment together- You could get it framed
and it would make a nice present.
All mums love chocolate and flowers.
Buy her a magazine subscription; most mums love the cooking and gardening titles!
Mum’s love chilling out with a spot of tea and a movie so why not head down to your nearest Entertainment retailer and pick up some DVD’s. Hint: mums love anything romantic or old classic films.
Don’t forget to buy something nice for your Nan’s, they are mothers too!
Mothers Day Origins:
Mothers day originated from Greece and came about from the festivals they had every year to celebrate Cybele, a great mother of the Gods.
The ancient Romans also had a holiday called Matronalia, which was dedicated to Juno… how ironic; I wonder if this is how they got the name Juno for the movie of the same name!
