Why the album review so late? Actually, i am not a fan of Green Day at all. The language, the morbidity, but hey, some people really do like it. As most Green Day fans know, and trust me there are so many Green Day fans out there, Green Day is simply putting out a record just for a "whatever" cause. If you think about it, Green Day is officially a decade old band. But... now all of a sudden there is this great rave about Green Day...? So, being the great album write i am, (haha) i asked my friend Alexis about the concert expirence. Her and a friend went to the Green Day concert April 15, not too long ago. She said as follows:
""Actually, it was fun. But, I never realized how much they cursed. The concert was on a weekend day, so the next day i went to church, right? I felt odd sitting there. I thought to myself, Okay, Alexis... you can't be here and there. You are using perfectly good language in front of God, but I can listen to bands cursing all last night?""
My Chemical Romance also played with Green Day. About the album. Green Day has by far produced much better productive and better sounding music. That may be an opinion. Well, i guess it is. What is really true though, is that this AMERICAN IDIOT c.d. wasn't something they really worked hard for. It simply was a "okay, the band is still together, what now?" type of thing.
