Chris Robertson: The Whale and the Wave

I'm in love with Chris Robertson's debut EP 'The Whale And The Wave'. The CD features a variety of haunting and beautiful tracks with captivating lyrics that make you pause and think. The love song 'Your Eyes', 'Dog Days' and 'Tecmo Super Bowl' are amongst my favorites from the album. 'Dog Days' is the track that instantly jumped out to me at first listen. Often times I can listen to a CD three times without noticing a certain track but this one caught my attention straight away. I love the story it tells. While all the tracks flow and work together well, 'Tecmo Super Bowl' has more of a dance vibe then the rest of the tracks and adds a good variety.

All in all, a fantastic EP that is definitely worth checking out! I'm looking forward to hearing more from this artist!
