Empire of the Sun: Walking on a Dream

Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore are the two guys that make up the Australian duo Empire of the Sun, creating a new and fresh feel to music. Their first album 'Walking on a Dream' has already taken the number 6th spot on Australia's charts and their slowly gaining fans worldwide. The duos music is labeled as "Electronic", but for me it sounds more like electronic met the 80s and had a lovechild, which I would call "Electro-80s". Their music is something you could listen to while chilling on the beach or taking a stroll through town. Favorite tracks of worldwide fans consist of 'Walking on a Dream' and 'We are the People', but my personal favorite is 'Swordfish Hotkiss Night' and surely the lyrics don't add up. But its a great song to listen to no matter what. I recommend this album to pop-lovers, dance fans and anywho who enjoyed listening to the 80s when their parents played it countless times on the radio.
