Hilary Duff: Metamorphosis Review - by Kat
Stuck on your head: 'The little voice in my head won't let me forget. The little voice in my head is never mislead. All of this noise is what keeps me from making a mess.'

I won a copy of this album this morning and from what I've heard so far it's really great. I'm actually a fan of Hilary's music but not so much her acting. She's definitely doing well filling the spot that Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have gotten too old (and too sensual) for. The music is fun, catchy pop. One thing I especially like about this album is that it isn't just an album of love songs. Sure they're great, but they get a little tiring after awhile. Metamorphosis includes such songs as 'Coming clean', 'Workin it out', 'Sweet 16', 'Metamorphosis', 'Inner Strength', and 'A day in the sun'. All of which talk about such things as simply growing up, working out who you are, and having fun. Hilary co-wrote two of the songs and wrote the track 'Inner Strength' on her own. Getting truly involved and singing something that really matters to you, that you wrote, is something I really respect in a singer. This is a great album!
