Katelyn Tarver: Wonderful Crazy - Review by Kat
Stuck on your Head: It's a wonderful crazy. It's a beautiful out of control. Kind of scary amazing. But I Don't really mind at all.

Katelyn Tarver's debut album is exactly what you'd expect from the 16-year-old American Idol Juniors finalist: fun, optimistic pop. Katelyn's voice has a beautiful, cheerful youthfulness that is really appealing. She somehow reminds me of Britney Spears when she first started out in music, but with more of an innocence and youthfulness.

Undeniable - Undeniable is a fun love song. Good beat and relatively good lyrics.
Rain - Great intro. More of a bubblegum pop sound with some cool effects. Great lyrics.
Something in me - I especially love the lyrics in this song; it comes across as more then just a love song. Great sound too.
Wonderful Crazy - The title track Wonderful Crazy is a really upbeat pop track you could easily dance to. Wonderfully optimistic lyrics about living a crazy but wonderful life where all the bad is balanced out by the good.
I'll make it real - This track has more of an R&B feel somehow. Great lyrics about making your life the way you want it. A nice break from the lovesongs on the album.
Closer to my heart - One of my favorite tracks on the album. I love how this song is sung. The first verse keeps up a good pace. Pretty lyrics.
Keep your eyes on the prize - A great pop/roxk track, another of my favorites. The song has a little more attitude then the other tracks on the album. Good lyrics too.
Life Was - A really pretty slow love song, no guitar or drums simply piano and strings. Another favorite.
Brand new day - A faster song with a great beat and cool backing vocals. The lyrics have a great rhythm 'I know you're tired and you're broke and you're the punch line to a joke'.
Everything - I love this songs beat. It's really different from the other tracks on the album. Another favorite of mine.

Overall a good album for lovers of pop. Will probably appeal more to younger audiences close to Katelyn in age. Worth checking out. I hope to see more from this young artist.

As a sidenote I love the art on the CD jacket. Really sunny and cheerful.
