The 5 Browns: No Boundaries - Review by Kat

And I thought I could play the piano! Sybling piano virtuosos 'The 5 Browns' put the rest of us to shame on their sophomore album 'No Boundaries' which includes such classical music favorites as Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Stravinsky’s The Firebird as well as all new material.

I don’t want to mislead readers into believing that I’m a regular fan of classical music, or that - other then a couple of years of piano lessons – I know much about the piano. I do however like to discover new music every now and then and for classical music what better place to start then with the 5 browns, 5 young people (the eldest is 27 and the youngest 20) with a true passion for classical music that shows in everything they play.

‘No Boundaries’ consists of fast paced, pulse racing songs as well as slow and tender, nearly tragic, melodies.

Highlights include 'Full Stride Ahead', I can’t imagine playing something as beautiful as this, the pace of the song just makes my fingers ache in appreciation of the talent put into playing it. 'Feria from Rapsodie Espagnole' is a beautiful rolling song that changes mood regularly and takes your emotions for a ride as it does so, I can easily envision graceful ballet dancers illustrating this song on stage. The aptly titled 'Romance' is another of my favorites.

‘No Boundaries’ is a must have CD for fans of classical music as well as those looking to discover a new passion.

‘No Boundaries’ is in stores April 4th. For more information on the 5 Browns visit their official website The 5 Browns
