Realign: Lost - Review by Kat

Realign’s debut album ‘Lost’ is a fantastic alternative rock album. The album features ten songs and one remix ranging from mellow rock to a heavier sound you can ‘nod ya head’ too.

Lost – Great single. Good lyrics and fantastic sound.
Be – Great lyrics, I love how the song builds up the chorus which seems to eventually just burst out.
Today – One of the heavier tracks on the album. Good lyrics and I enjoy the way the song is sung.
John 15:12 – A slower more thoughtful song, rather brief lyrically but still one of my favorites on the album.
All away – The lyrics of this strong are really beautiful. Great sound. Another of my favorites.
All of me – Definitely one of the heavier tracks on the album. Opens with some screaming lyrics then proceeds into a rapped first verse. Very different from the previous songs on the album. Great lyrics too.
Again – The song opens with a rather haunting first verse. Great lyrics. Features a cool instrumental break between verses that lifts the songs overall slower feel. A beautiful (if that’s the correct word to associate with alternative rock) song.
On my hands - A stand out song with a fantastic message, sung awesomely, starts out rahter slowly and thoughtfully but proceeds into a really heavy ending. Features a reading from Isaiah 53: 4-6 in the background that adds a new dimension to the song. Probably my favorite song on the album
Dream - Good guitar driven sound, cool lyrics. Fun rap on the chorus.
Break out - Slowest song on the album, slow, prayerful choruses with a faster chorus. Another of my favorites.
Again (asitshouldbe Remix) - Great remix.

Overall 'Lost' is a great diversity of rock tracks. I like the use of rap on two of the tracks, it serves well to shake up the album a little. Good mix of both slower and faster songs. A great rock album. Work checking it out.
