We all knew Lindsay Lohan was a good actress. But who knew she could sing? Actually, if you saw Freaky Friday or Confessions of a Teenage Drama, you probably knew, but, well I'm speechless! lol
The three songs I liked would have to be Rumors, Over, and Speak. Rumors, Lindsay's first single, expresses Lindsay's plea to quit following her and giving her a hard time. Because, if you think about it, Lindsay is just one of us!
The song Over is about Lindsay's desire to be with a guy that she knows she can't have. Basically she's saying that she loves him and wants to be with him and will do just about anything she can to have him, but she knows she can't have him! Sounds like my kinda song!
Speak basically is Lindsay asking for more people to say what they think and feel, and not just what people want to hear. During an interview for her album, Lindsay said what inspired her to write this song was everything with the election coming up and all, that she really feels that this is a good time to speak your mind.
Lindsay is a great artist and her songs are great. Although when she sings Over, it kinda sounds likes she's whining. But with a few more singing lessons, I'm sure she will do great.
