The Fray: How to save a life - Limited Edition Review
Review by Amanda

How to Save a Life has become one of my all-time favorite albums. "Over My Head (Cable Car)" was the first single off the album, and it's still going strong. It's about getting too far into something and not knowing until it's too late. The second single, "How to Save a Life", is constantly being played and requested on the radio. They wrote it about a friend going through a hard time in his life. I love this album so much because every song was written about something that happened in one of the band members' lives. There's a connection that people have with their songs because they're about something of real substance with real emotions.

"Fall Away" is one of my favorite tracks off the album. It's about trying to escape your past, but it follows you anyway. "All at Once" is usually their show-opener, and it really gets the crowd going. The chorus ("and all at once the crowd begins to say sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same") is so amazing live, when the crowd actually starts yelling those words...woah! The other track from the album that I must talk about is "Look After You". It's about the support and love of the people in a relationship, and they just want to be together. He just wants to take care of her. The Limited Edition album also includes a DVD of their tour, "Over My Head (Cable Car)" video, and the story of "How to Save a Life". It's an amazing album and worth every penny.
