The Sounds are the new Blondie. If you like that 80’s pop/rock, then you will LOVE the Sounds. This is their second album, and I must say, its just as good as the first, maybe better. This is a record you play when you are driving around town with your guy friends, or even solo, and lip synch along to the rockin sound. Their first single off the album, “Song with a mission” has got this uppedy beat that you tap your foot to. My favorite track off the album is “Queen of Apology”, which has a catchy chorus that will get stuck in your head for hours. “Ego”, and “Hurt You” are also my favorites. And the ballad “Night by Night” is soothing and sweet. It is a must have album for the Spring/Summertime.
