I first heard of this book reading about it in a magazine, and then I saw one of my friends reading it. I went to a book store and decided to buy it. I couldn't believe that it was written by a 15 year old male, and it took him 4-5 years to finish it.

The book is a sci-fi fantasy and medieval action book at once. It is about a poor boy, who has been told so many old legends of Dragons and Dragon Riders and all of the War Times by Brom the story teller. One day while Eragon (the poor boy) is in the Spine, a blue stone appears in the Spine.

Eragon decides to take the blue stone home with him one night, and then a few days later the stone starts moving. Then a creature hatches out of it, and he realizes it is a Dragon!

This book is the first part of the Inhertiance Trilogy, and is also an upcoming Movie on December 15th, 2006. If you haven't already read the book then you need to. It is really amazing!

But, I'd have to say that the love connection between Eragon and an elf, Arya, really broke the book's whole meaning. On the other hand, this book is great for teens and I think you should buy it. The action, adventure, medieval, and sadness all mixed together makes this book heartbreaking, funny, and enjoyable all at once. I really recommend you buy it.
