This is it people. Time to say good-bye to Lena, Carmen, Bridget and Tibby but before we do we have last one summer and it’s the biggest yet.

Lena is struggling through Art school with no financial support from her parents. She’s still struggling to forget Kostos and is finding that doing so is an art all of its own. Then she meets Leo, a brilliant artist and a nice guy – will getting caught up in a summer fling help erase Kostos from her mind or will his inevitable appearance remain just that?

Carmen is struggling at college. Having been born with built in friends she’s finding it’s not so easy to make them. Then she meets glamorous and together Julia who to Carmen’s surprise takes her under her wing. Via Julia Carmen gets introduced to the world of theatrical theatre and ultimately may have to learn the value of a true friend and the burden of a false one.

Bridget and Eric are still together but he’s spending the summer in Mexico and she’s headed to an archaeological dig off the coast of Turkey where she meets a professor who’s available in every way except one.

Tibby’s relationship with Brian reaches a new level of intimacy that may just tear them apart. Can she hold on to the person that matters the most when the scariest reality of growing up comes knocking on her door?

Forever in Blue is a fitting end to the Sisterhood series. The characters have grown believably and the book has an entirely different feel from the first in the series which is fitting to the fact that four years has passed and the girls are no longer in High School Some stories are more pulling then others but I was happy with each girl’s ending.

The stories ending it self is surprising, wonderful and heartwarming.
