'For Kezzie, the war begins when German planes fire at her cruise liner as she is returning home to Scotland from Canada with her younger sister Lucy.
Once reunited with Grandad, the family spirit is put to the test. Kezzie's strength is needed by many. But as Clydebank becomes a burning inferno, will she be able to turn tragedy into triumph.'
'A homecoming for Kezzi' is just as powerful as it's prequel. The author vividly depicts the horror of Clydebank being bombed by enemy forces. Kezzi once again triumphs over adversary and refuses to give in, proving she's a wonderful heroine. This book is a wonderful portal into the late 30's and 40's depicting how life was back then. A fantastic read with a great ending! And I know you're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover but this cover is fantastic too!
