By thirteen Anna has undergone countless surgeries, transfusions and injections to help her sister, Kate, fight leukaemia. Anna was born for this purpose but now she can't help wondering what her life would be if she was not tied to Kate's life. So she makes a difficult decision and sues her parents for the rights to her own body.
Jodi Picoult writes amazing stories with unexpected endings. Among all of Jodi Picoult books I have read; this book has to be the best of them. The book's main storyline is about a girl suing her own parents for her own right to her body. Just by following this simple story line you must be wondering, how does Jodi Picoult create a story that recieves praises (just to name a few) from not only People, but from USA Today and Daily Telegraph (Australia)? To put it simply; she writes about real life situations and tries to put herself into their shoes and she is able to portray the situation eloquently.
This book is no fantasy but something that some people can actually relate to. If you plan to get a good book, get My Sister's Keeper, you will definitely not go wrong with it.
