Now starring Vivien Leigh Reid: Diva in Training is the follow up to Now Starring Vivien Leigh Reid: Diva in Training and Introducing Vivien Leigh Reid: Daughter of the Diva and in my opinion most definitely the best book of the three. I breezed through this novel in just a couple of days; loving and chuckling my way through the numerious hilerious situations Leigh found herself in.

After her diva disaster on Diamond Heights, Leigh had sworn to take time away from the camera. Now she's back in LA to help her mother plan her big wedding. Leigh's new stepfather is a producer on a new television series; Freak Force and in an effort to bribe or console his new step daughter he gives her a part.

Leigh's determined to prove she's a diva no longer and it's going to take all of her steely determination to survive the attitude problems of her all-male co-stars; not to mention her new director; Chaz who so clearly recalls her diva ways on her last show.

Then there's the fact that life with a diva mother is never easy; Annika is quickly turning into bridezilla and Leigh's to be (wicked) step sisters are something straight out of Cinderella!

She's calm, she's cool, she's no diva... but can Leigh really handle this?

Some of the situations Leigh finds herself in are just brilliant. I won't spoil the surprise but lets just say her character on Freak Force is less then appealing... and she certainly doesn't smell of roses. I was laughing out loud when I read it.

Leigh's determination to deal with her past mistakes and not allow people to bring her down is encouraging and definitely something to aspire to and of course our favorite fantasy movie scripts are back as well as a little channeling of the classic film Casablanca.
