Point Blanc is the second novel in the Alex Rider; StormBreaker series - a collection of teen novels about a 14-year-old spy. In Point Blanc Alex is called upon to work for the British Secret Service - M16 - once again. Two of the worlds wealthiest men have been murdered and they each have one thing in common - their 14-year-old sons attend a mysterious finishing school for wealthy and troubled teenage boys. The school is Point Blanc, run by the mysterious Dr. Grief and perched high upon a French Mountainside. Alex must pose as a student and find out what exactly is going at Point Blanc, before it's too late.

The Alex Rider series is essentially a teenage James Bond - without the Bond Girls. Alex is intelligent and creative and occasionally offers cheesy one liners. The situations in the novel are extreme and some solutions are so unbelievable they make you roll your eyes while smiling. Teen boys will especially enjoy the series but they are not so masculine as to alientate female audiences.

Essentialy and enthralling and entertaining read but watch out for the 'To be continued' ending!
