When Iggy gets kicked out of school, he’s on his own. His drug addict mother has disappeared again and his Dad’s stoned on the couch. On well meant advice from his Principal, Iggy sets out to make his ‘contribution’ to the world, in the hopes of getting back into school.

Prepare to crawl into the mind of Iggy Corso. You’ll be surprised what you find. Iggy is both appealingly naďve and street-smart, with an insight beyond his years. He’s sweet and loyal to those in his life and a fantastic hero.

KL Going brilliantly brings Iggy to life, allowing the reader to feel as if they’re having a conversation with the character as they turn the page. His journey is surprising and inspiring, as he touches the lives of the most unexpected people without even realizing it.

‘Saint Iggy’ is tragic and touching and a must read.

NOTE: Saint Iggy includes moderate level offensive language, some violence and some content that might offend. The book is more appropriate for older and more mature teens and not some of Portrait’s youngest readers.
