The Princess Bride is the story of Buttercup - the most beautiful woman in the world - and of Westley the heroic man she loves. When Westley seemingly dies tragically Buttercup too feels as if she were dead. But soon she finds herself engaged to a prince and kidnapped by an unusual group of villains that include a giant and a Spanish wizard of the sword. The story of action, bravery, friendship, loyalty and true love is only just beginning.

The Princess Bride is a brilliant book with a zinging wit written by a master of narrative. The book never loses momentum and you'll find yourself grinning as you read. The characters are brilliant and unforgettable and the story original and with all the appeal of a fairytale. You'll find yourself unable to put it down and at the end of the thick novel seemingly moments after you began it.

Most certainly a must read.
