Amazing Grace is a stunning and inspiring film. Though essentially a slow story with no explosions or car chases the story still pulls you in and makes your heart sing. You're reminded once again how truly hideous the slave trade was - not only did it take away the people's freedom but slaves where so severely treated and died in the hundreds of thousands for lack of care and complete disregard.

Ioan Gruffudd who is better known for his role in the Fantastic Four films gives a strong and passionate performance and budding starlet Romola Garai is great as his romantic interest and inspiring force - Barbara Wilberforce

Amazing Grace is a great film that offers good historical insight and an inspiring message about just how change one person can effect in the world.
