An Unfinished Life stars Robert Redford as Einar a one time farmer who now spends his time tinkering around on his ranch and playing cards with his best friend Mitch (Morgan Freeman). Their idyllic life is disrupted when Einar's estranged daughter-in-law Jean (Jennifer Lopez) turns up with the 11-year-old granddaughter, Griff, he never knew he had. With time will old wounds be healed and the three become a family again?

An Unfinished Life is a beautiful and touching film that features stellar performances from it's A-List cast (heck, I even liked Jennifer Lopez in this one and that's incredibly unusual). Becca Gardner who plays Griff is absolutely adoreable and it was starring with Robert Redford in The Horse Whisperer that launched Scarlett Johannson's career (at the same age too), I hope it does the same for Becca's.

The film has a great message about living your life and not letting pain and bitterness rob you of a full life.

This is definitely a feel good film worth seeing.
